આ કાવ્યમાં કવિ પ્રભુલાલ દ્વિવેદીએ માનવજીવનનું ઊંડું ચિંતન વ્યક્ત કરતાં કહ્યું છે કે, મનુષ્ય ક્યારેય અભિમાન ન કરવું. નસીબ પર કદી ભરોસો ન કરવો કેમ કે રાજામાંથી રંક બનતા વાર લાગતી નથી. મૃત્યુ પછી ઈશ્વરના દરબારમાં ભૌતિક સંપત્તિ કે સ્વજન સાથે આવતા નથી.
ખાલી હાથે જ જવું પડે છે. કવિએ જગતના સનાતન સત્યને સમજાવવા ઊગ્યું તે આથમે, ખીલ્યું તે કરમાય. એહ નિયમ અવિનાશનો, જે જન્યું તે જાય. દ્વારા જીવનની ઘટમાળને સરળ શબ્દોમાં સમજાવી છે. સજ્જનો દુઃખમાં અને સુખમાં સમાનભાવે વર્તે છે.
જ્યારે દુર્જનો દુષ્કાર્ય કરીને બીજાને પરેશાન કરે છે. અહંકાર છોડીને ઈશ્વરની સર્વોપરિતાનો સ્વીકાર કરવા અને પરોપકારી બનવાનો બોધ આપે છે.
