While preparing dilute sulphuric acid from concentrated sulphuric acid in the laboratory, the concentrated sulphuric acid is added slowly to water with constant stirring Because if  water is directly added to the acid then there will be sudden increase in temperature and the acids being in bulk tends to spurts out with serious Consequences. but if adding acid slowly to water with constant stirring  then it will not cause any harm to the person .
