The density remains unchanged in Frenkel defect.

In the frenkel defect an ion takes a place at an interstitial position. Hence there is no increase or decrease in the number of ions, so the density of the substance also remains constant because the ion is just situated at some other position and hasn't left the substance i.e., it only gets displaced from its original position.
