Given : a = 495 pm

Radius, r = ?

For fcc structure,

Radius = r = \(\frac{a}{2\sqrt{2}}= \frac{495}{2\sqrt{2}}\) = 175pm

Ans. Radius of Cu atom = 175 pm.
