Given: Radius (r) = 5 cm

To find: Curved surface area and total surface area of hemisphere

i.Curved surface area of hemisphere = 2πr2

= 2 x 3.14 x 52

= 2 x 3.14 x 25

= 50 x 3.14

= 157 sq.cm.

ii.Total surface area of hemisphere = 3πr2

= 3 x 3.14 x 52

= 235.5 sq.cm.

∴ The curved surface area and total surface area of hemisphere are 157 sq.cm, and 235.5 sq.cm, respectively.
