Left-extremism or Naxalismis one of the major challenges against Indian democracy. Left extremists were called Naxals. It was a movement started to remove injustice against aggressive landless farmers and tribal people. By attacking the police forces and using other tactics the Naxalistshas reduced the problems of farmers and tribal people without using any violent measures to oppose the government policies.
