Best answer

To find : temperature in degree fahrenheit

Formula : °F=\({9\over5}(°C)+32\)

Solution :

A. 40°C

\(°F={{9\over5}(°C)+32}\)

\(={{9\over5}(40)+32}\)

\(={72+32}=104°F\)

B. 30°C

\(°F={{9\over5}(°C)+32}\)

\(={{9\over5}(30)+32}\)

\(={{54}+32}\)

=\(86°F\)
